NEWS: For now, this mod will stay as-is. I think
it's considered a complete mod at this point,
especially with the variations. If I add any more
to this, I will update you right here as usual.
Thank you for the support. I will try to check in
from time to time.

NEWS: Original Values Edition Released: Now available as
an alternative download, this version of CPAR keeps the
original vanilla stats intact.
NOTICE: The OV Edition WILL still overwrite any other
food mod's stats, replacing them with the vanilla values.
There does not seem to be a way around this. So if you
have an enhanced food mod, use my original CPAR version.
If you are interested in how to better balance the
original enhanced values version, then please check out
Xodarap777's great XFO mod; specifically the drug rarity
plug-in.
NOTICE: Please let me know if any problems arise with
this mod, and the new OVE version. I could always miss
something.

NEWS: New Version Released: Version 1.1. Update details
are in section "B" below. Thank you for your interest in
CPAR.
NOTICE: If you were one of the first people to download
this mod and the Mr.T Cereal did not work for you, that
issue has been fixed in the current download. Thank you
and sorry for the problem.

Version 1.1 updated on 5/13/2009
PLEASE make sure to uninstall the old version before
installing the new one as the structure has been
changed. Probably won't hurt anything, but it will
make a mess.

A. INTRODUCTION & FEATURES
============================
Welcome to Cheezy Poofs & Rations 1.1!
This is my very first mod so I hope you enjoy it.
Thank you for the generous response so far.
1. This mod re-textures, renames and changes the values
of all of the boxed food items found in "Fallout 3".
2. My items are made up of direct recreations, and items
inspired by, the original "Fallout" games.
3. Representations of real life rations also make up the
package, as well as one or two randomly fun items. :)
4. All of the textures were either created or put
together by myself and also include new, good quality,
custom icons for the PipBoy.
5. Food values closely made to match enhanced food mods.
This means higher radiation levels but better healing.
============================
B. NEW FEATURES & UPDATES (Version 1.1)
============================
[FIX] Ugly shine textures have been eliminated. I'm
still learning. :)
[TWEAK] All of the foods are now much closer matched to
enhanced food mods to avoid frustrations with unbalanced
stats.
[TWEAK] The file structure has been completely revamped
for YOUR benefit. You can now easily find and
place/remove the "CPAR" files without having to directly
overwrite things in the standard directory. This will
make uninstallation especially easier, without having
to hunt down individual loose files, such as those
d*mn sugar bombs! Any future mods done by me will use
the CPAR folder structure for mass or specific installs
and/or removals.
To go along with this, turning off the .esp will turn
off ALL of my mod, including retextures!
[NEW] More custom inventory icons have been added. Now
all of my modified foods feature either a direct
representation of itself or a new (better than before)
generic icon. Any other mods I do like this will feature
customized icons from now on. Still don't understand
alphas well, but what I'm doing works.
[SCREENS] There are new screenshots in the image area.
---------------------------------------------------------
NOTE: As it stands, this should complete this edition of
CPAR (Cheezy Poofs & Rations) as a stand-alone mod.
I MAY add a few new things in the future, but please let
me know if you have any trouble with my mod, such as
missing textures, etc. Thank you.

C. DISCLAIMER
============================
I'm really not a modder. I mod things for a hobby
and don't always finish what I'm doing which is why
this is the first mod I've ever released. I did make
this for personal taste.
That in mind, if any of you really like my work, I
hope you will enjoy what I can offer as I won't often
have the time (or the focus) to keep going on one thing.
In other words, if this gets updated, it will be
updated casually.
This also took a lot longer to release than I thought.
Kudos to those who put out the big mods.
And as usual, please PM me if you would like to use my
work in any other mod, or some other such thing. At LEAST
give me credit. (especially if I'm unavailable) Please
don't just take it and/or claim anything here of mine as
your own; especially items I designed from scratch.
Other than that, I hope you have fun with these.

D. FOOD LIST
============================
1. Cheezy Poofs
"10% Real Cheese!"
2. Happy Pie
"Smile while your teeth rot!"
3. TV Dinner
"Classic Nuked Chicken"
4. Bubba's Black Tire Donuts
"Made from real tire dough!"
5. Roadkiller's Mystery Jerky
"There's no more roadkill, only Roadkiller's."
6. Mr.T Cereal
"Cause only Mr.T could still be around 200 years after an
apocalypse."
7. C-Ration (Meat & Beans)
8. C-Ration (Meat Hash)
9. C-Ration (Chicken & Vegetables)
10. D-Ration (Caramels)
11. D-Ration (Chocolate)
---------------------------------------------------------
NOTE: All rations are based/made from real life rations
found in WWII and Vietnam. "Dandy Boy Apples" & "Potato
Crisps" have both been replaced with a can model.
---------------------------------------------------------
NOTE: Chocolate now gives +1 Agility for a little while
due to it's otherwise low health value and rarity. I
mean, c'mon, when most people eat chocolate they either
get a sugar rush or just feel a little better. Let me
know if this is unbalanced.

============================
E. FUN FACTS
============================
1. "Roadkiller's Mystery Jerky" is supposed to be a NEW
product being distributed in the Wasteland; hence the
crazy stenciling, etc. I thought it was silly that no
one would be trying to package and sell food after 200
years. "Roadkiller's" might be one man or a gang.
2. The "Cheezy Poofs" were remade using the original
Fallout 2 icon as a reference.
3. "Black Tire Donuts" are an homage to the donuts seen in
previous games.
4. "Mr.T Cereal" is there just for fun. (^_^)
5. The "Happy Pie" image was made in Adobe Illustrator
using a promotional image for "Tactics" as a reference.
============================
F. ISSUES
============================
You tell me!!!
This will most likely overwrite the values of any other
mod that edits the foods. This shouldn't effect FRESH
foods though.
============================
G. CREDITS
============================
TheOutbreak
I made this mod on my own, but thank you to everyone who
has been customizing textures of their own for inspiration
and reference.
============================
H. THANKS
============================
Fallout 3 Nexus, Interplay, Black Isle, Bethesda and
modders for bringing more life into the Fallout world.
============================
I. INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
============================
Place the CPAR.esp and all of the files into your
Fallout3/Data directory. My files now use their own "CPAR"
folders located in the textures and meshes directories.
Make sure to backup anything that might get overwritten.
The ESP itself is what will override any current
textures you have in your directory so just make sure
it's above anything that alters foods, etc. when it comes
to your load order.
============================
J. UNINSTALLATION
============================
Version 1.1 Uninstall
----------------------------
Simply remove the CPAR.esp and the "CPAR" folders from the
data/textures directory and the data/meshes directory.
Version 1.0 Uninstall
----------------------------
Remove any of the files that you added from this mod,
including the .esp. For reference, re-open the mod's zip
file to make sure you're removing all of the correct files
from your Fallout3/Data folder.
