About this mod

My Mei Wong makeover spawned this requested mod, now you CAN take her with you!

Permissions and credits
WIP--Early Alpha, not kidding this is a quick and dirty follow, wait, carry job!
Seriously DO NOT download this unless you want to help with testing.

She drops a map marker if you tell her to wait (outside)

Appearance (Hair, eyes) please refer to my Mei Wong Revamped, upon this is based, I will add this info here as well later, just not as important at the moment. http://fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=8003

+++

0.03a - Mei has passed my base health test (after a further tweak from 0.02a levels), killing an Albino Radscorpian toe-to-toe in Raider armour with some assistance from my level 29 PC. So this version has the health and limb restore after each combat typical of followers. Crippling and hit point hits will not remain after combat ends. Mei is not marked essential but she is now tough as nails. My remaining concern is that of overkill for lower-level PCs so that is where I will focus my testing now.

---

0.02a - I am fairly confident I have fixed the wait package, Mei will wander within a short distance from where you issue a wait command but does not make a bee line to RC (please let me know if you have different results). I have also doubled her base health (not enough for my liking with a level 29 PC) I don't want to overpower her for lower level PCs so I value feedback on this, and anything else!

--- DESCRIPTION OF INTENT ---

This current ESP represents the end state of the hiring/training process, in that I have moved Mei to a custom class with small guns, melee weapons and energy weapons as her tag skills. Her level scales directly with the PC with her level starting at a base of five. I did not mark her essential but she does have an "unconscious" cue scripted. I welcome feedback on all this as well as what I will mention next.

What I am looking to test, at this early phase is her suitability as a combat follower after her "training." Once this is completed to my satisfaction I will expand her scripting and then create a quest around bringing her/sending her to the Lincoln Memorial for training by the freed slaves there (Simone in particular, having been a mercenary).

I aim to retain a straightforward command/control interface with dialogue being a main choice but not a first choice to issue a command or access her inventory. I have been playing these games (Fallout 1,2,3; Oblivion and Morrowind) for some years now and the chit-chat wears thin for me pretty quickly, I was ready to scoop Star Paladin's eyes out with a melon-baller if I had to continue to hear her scripturesque quotes about being equipped each time I needed to access her inventory to repair her armour, etc. Consequently I quickly dropped her as a companion.

Mei Wong has very little unique voiced dialogue (mostly relies on non-discript adult voicing) and it is almost entirely off-point comments like "I'd rather be alone right now," and "Stay away from me!" The rest deals quite specifically with her role in the Sister/slave quest in RC, as you would imagine. So I would really value feedback on this aspect of Mei as a companion. I want to strike a balance of my displeasure with repetitious dialogue with some dialogue to make her more of a companion and less of a fighting pack animal.
