I know this mod and this thread is over a decade old, but how come this mod only puts them back in the bridge? How is this the only mod in Nexus relating to Somah? How has no one else wanted to make a mod that not only put her back in Mothership Zeta, but also makes her an available companion in the Capital Wasteland? That's what I wanted when I came looking for this mod. Like, yeah it's nice to have her back on the ship for that 100 repair and to talk to a little, but that's the thing. I'm more interested in her as a character than in her ability to fully repair my gear. There's already a mod that makes Moira's repair skill 100, so it's a lot more convenient to fully repair gear than going to Somah or Haley in Point Lookout. I want a mod that allows me to travel with Somah out in the wastes. She's a cool character and I would have liked to have more adventures with her. But I don't know s#*! about modding. Maybe doing that would be insanely complicated, and that's the reason such a mod doesn't exist. But I can't be the only one who'd want that, right?

Know you commented a while back but I agree with you. Even when I use MSZ, Somah just 'disappears' from the game. Well, unless you recruit her to go exploring with you I used SCC to recruit her. I RP that she needed a guide to see the new world. Other than that, a lot of NPC's aren't well-thought as far as development. For instance, Rory also 'disappears' if you get him out safely along with the other people in PF you rescue.

Edit: Rory doesn't disappear but shows up in Moriarty's Saloon but doesn't have much in the way of conversation.

Just adding my $0.02 ...it was & is pretty odd that they are scripted to go Poof, I would at least say have them be DLC-Followers. Or work on the ship or like others have noted, found someone in the Wasteland. Wondering or in a City/Town area.. that would have been kool.

Edit: TheOutlander actually beated me on this, on a comment page. What's the odds for that <img class=">

Nope, I've studied the scripts, and it appears that they are gone when you are outta the ship. No movement back to the wasteland or anything. That would be cool though, checking up on how they are doing back in the real world.

Well, theoretically there could be a random encounter somewhere, but I found no traces of that when I was looking through this, but I may have overlooked something. But I have not heard about them being another place than in Zeta and they have always stayed in the bridge on my setup, so I assume it's just a myth that they occur in the wasteland <img class=">

Interesting. I was under the impression you could encounter Somah and Paulson in the Wastelands after Zeta was completed. Is that not in fact the case?

They are simply disabled after you complete MZ. You don't encounter them in the Wastes.

The purpose of this mod would be to re-enable them.
