This is our review of Point Lookout. We decided to start making reviews of some of the bigger mods we've played, along with the DLC and games themselves. We understand that our opinions deviate quite a bit from a lot of regulars here, but maybe some of you all might be interested anyway. Ideology is included in our analysis, and so we'll be refraining from debate of any kind here to avoid potential drama. Still, feel free to disagree, but please be kind. - Kyle and Kira

    Definitely have to agree on how empty Point Lookout felt, not just lack of NPCs/encounters but overall the places to explore as well.  Was surprised on my first playthrough how little either of the two mansion interiors had to offer (either in loot or things that made them interesting just to poke around in).  I've never understood why so many reviews call it the "best" of the DLCs released as to me, it felt like a half-finished world with only the barest elements to make it playable.

      Thanks! Totally agree. When we saw Point Lookout was remade for Fallout 4, our first thought was "Really? That's the one you went with?" And then our second thought was "Oh it probably had a more attainable scope".
