Installing the User Interface for a FallUI Complex Item Sorter Build

** This information is for a No-AWKCR build. **

DEF_UI
- Mod Manager Installation Pages:
- - <Next>
- - DEF_HUD, Your Language, and your screen resolution
- - Use Sorting Mod Tags & Vanilla HUD
- - I already have sorting xml files

* DEF_UI is now fully covered by FallUI HUD

1. HUDFramework

- Required by Sim Settlements and other HUD mods
- - DEFUI Compatibility Patch - Download it too. * Patch No Longer Need
- - - Install with Mod Organizer 2.

2. DEF_UI Iconlibs Rescaled and Fixed
- Install with Mod Organizer 2.

3. FallUI Inventory

- Check both Main FIles
- Check Optional File - MOD: Disable PipboyFX (unless you know for sure Fallout4Custom.ini contains bPipboyDisableFX=1)
** The bottom two options critical **
- BLANK - Mod: FallUI - Item Sorter Mod
- Either - Mod: FallUI - Item Sorter Mod (Tag Configuration)
 - - - Blank if using my Enhancements mod.
 - - -Check the box if not.

4. FallUI HUD
- Install with Mod Organizer 2.
- First time installation - check the top 3 options
- - ONLY use the MCM settings fix if you have MCM saving issues.  Read the warning on that installer page.
- When updating - UNCHECK the MCM settings and only run the top 3 options.

5. Ruddy88's Simple Sorter INNR esp File

     ECO Instance Naming Rules (INNR)

- Only get R88SimpleSorter_INNR  in "Optional Files"
- ECO_INNRoverride.esp  MUST get relocated to the end of the Load Order.
- Only a few INNR and the Complex Item Sorter output files follow it.  Example pic below.
** There is also an option for the R88 INNR in Complex Sorter options but I'm not using it and have not verified it will work the same.  However, I ALWAYS know where the ECO INNR .esp file sits in my load order.

6.
Install FO4Edit

  • Install MXPF into your FO4Edit folder (Hosted on skyrim nexus, but the framework works flawlessly for FO4Edit)
  • This was previously use for the CraftingFramework Workbench Patcher.  This functionis now performed by Complex Sorter.

7. M8r98a4f2's Complex Item Sorter

- Version 1.9 or newer
- Manual Installation Only
- Copy the "FO4Edit" folder from M8r's CS 1.9 or later mod into FO4Edit:     "...\F04Edit\Edit Scripts\"

8. 4estGimp - Complex Item Sorter Enhancements
- Mod Organizer 2 Installation

9. Rename Anything

- Optional, but nifty if you need it.
- F4SE Plugin (you probably already have this)
- Mod Manager Installation

10. FallUI Workbench
- Mod Manager Installation

11. FallUI Confirm Boxes- Mod Manager Installation
- This will add icons into the confirmation boxes.

MO2 Installation Example
Many of the following mods are optional, but here is my complete UI section:

End Of Load Order Example:

*** Multiple output files are no longer required for larger load orders.

**** Substitute R88_SimpleSorter.esp with ECO_INNRoverride.esp as mentioned in step 5

Wondering the same as ZombieSaint11  about Step:3 I'm following instructions installing RO and found myself here. Does Tag Configuration need to be checked or blank ?

Thanks for a great guide. I'm still modding and trying to decide on what tagging system to use. I'm confused about Step 3: FallUI Inventory. Should I leave both bottom options blank, or enable the Tag Configuration one? Many thanks. I'm using the Enhancements.
