This part of the Guide needs details, details are important in all guides.

    DFS setup

    • Go to Fallout 4\Data\meshes\actors\character\characterassets
    • Copy

    • File: Fallout 4\Data\meshes\actors\character\characterassets\skeleton.nif
    • To: Fallout 4\Data\meshes\actors\character\characterassets\female\skeleton.nif

File FROM WHERE? Skeleton Fix? Zex? Other?

Ofk, it is from skeletal adjustments (at this point you shouldn't have zex installed.)

      BUT
Actually, this step is now obsolete, cause skeletal adjustments got update. Now you just need to pick DFS compatible option in fomod

Gladly this step got obsolete, because GOTY version has no such files unpacked, everything is in packages which makes impossible to mod without a  mod manager, I am using MO2.
      But my doubts still there.
I dont know if this load order is right

      F4se
      CBBE
      BodySlider
      OCBP
all skeletal adjustments for females and bodytalk (male mods)
      3BBB physics
      MTM 3BBB preset
All bodies textures Female and Male
      ClothingSlides

My doubt is the OCBP and 3BBB physics, which one is first.

I have a doubt about all this, for example I want to install 3BBB for females, but also I want Males textures and new animations for both.
So the installation should be in this order?
    F4se
    CBBE
    BodySlider
    OCBP
all skeletal adjustments for females and bodytalk (male mods)
    3BBB physics
    MTM 3BBB preset
All bodies textures Female and Male
    ClothingSlides

    “我已经安装了它,但是BodySlide和Outfit Studio中的3bbb选项总是受到bodytalk的影响,这意味着生成男性形象总是会影响女性身材。我该如何解决这个问题?

Hi, for the DFS setup, the current Fallout 4 data folder don't have the meshes folder as all the files are in ba2 files, so how do you remedy this?

Same thing here. I am using MO2 and I have no skeleton files in the path indicated. The only skeleton files I have is if I install ZaZ Skeleton before DFS.

Also if you use Skeletal Adjustment Fomod it offers you to use DFS but to do so you have to have already installed DFS previously. So I am a bit confused about what to do here.

(I'm using MO2) After building your meshes go to the overwrite or wherever you put your meshes and create a new folder for the female skeleton, then copy the skeleton to it.

Also a virtual file explorer might let you access the meshes folder. I don't know where I got mine though, I think it came with my wabbajack mod list.

In the current configuration of the mods, the installation of Discrete Female Skeleton (DFS) should come before Skeletal Adjustments. While installing Skeletal Adjustments you will be asked whether to populate the skeleton in the proper location created by DFS. Since the installation process does this for you, you will not need to manually move Fallout 4\Data\meshes\actors\character\characterassets\skeleton.nif to Fallout 4\Data\meshes\actors\character\characterassets\female\skeleton.nif.

Thanks for the instructions. Finding this solved the issues I was having.
