As of version 106

Lunar Fallout Overhaul makes substantial changes to the manufacturing machines available to players to add utility to players. This article should help familiarize you with the changes. Especially since many recipes do not show up until you meet the criteria.

Shipment Packer:

  • This machine takes scrap and converts it to shipments.
  • This machine also still crafts the steel ball used for the DLC's ball track.

Ammunition Plant (and requirements):
  • shotgun shell: None
  • 5mm: None
  • 5.56:  Engineering 3
  • .50 cal: Engineering 4
  • Plasma Cartridge: Science 4
  • .44: Engineering 3
  • .45-70: Engineering 4
  • .308: None
  • 7.62: Engineering 4
  • 2mm EC: Engineering 4


Armor Forge (requires ranks in armorer to unlock some recipes):
  • Produces Combat helmet, medium leather, heavy leather, medium synth, medium metal, heavy metal, marine armor, medium combat, heavy combat armors.

Auto-Loom:
  • Produces Longfellow's coat, Random Prewar clothing, Vault tech security armor, "Surprise!" mystery clothing,  Lab coat, cleanroom suits, Preston's outfit, Macready's outfit, Piper's outfit, Children of Atom Set, Hancock's outfit, Space suit, Minutemen Set, Hubologist Robes, Nuka Girl space suit, Random western clothes.
  • I've set this machine to create two items at a time as most of these are sets with a hat and outfit. Some options are just an outfit, so their recipe is more expensive. Selection is still random so you still get two hats or outfits at a time for "sets" but it averages out over time.
  • Many outfits are unlocked through completing quests (example: Nuka World outfits).


Explosives Mill (requires ranks in Demolitions and or Science for some recipes):
  • Baseball Grenade (baseball not required!)
  • Cryo Grenade
  • Frag Grenade
  • Cannonball
  • Plasma Grenade
  • Pulse Grenade
  • MIRV Frag Grenade
  • Cryo Mine
  • Frag Mine
  • Missile
  • Plasma Mine
  • Pulse Mine

Ammunition Plant 2:
  • Produces .38, .45, 10mm,  Fusion Cell, Flamer Fuel, Gamma Cell, Cryo Cell, Railroad Spike, Weather and Minutemen related mortar fireworks.

Food Processor:
  • Produces all pre-war packaged foods.

Weapon Forge:
  • 10mm, .44, Machine Gun, Combat Rifle, Combat Shotgun, Railway Rifle, Handmade rifle, Hunting rifle, Submachinegun, Lever action rifle.

Energy Weapon Forge:
  • Untouched

Heavy Weapon Forge:
  • Flamer, Gauss Rifle, Minigun, Missile Launcher.


Other changes:
  • tweaked a few recipes
  • changed repair requirements for some power armor parts.

    Are there any perk requirements to make these Contraptions? If so can you also list them here?
