Scrapping the following items before installing the plan is recommended, but not game breaking if you don’t, but a few items will be hard to get to.

Junk around the Workbench...
Moving inside… future location of the caravan services
Moving south from there… future location of the kitchen recreational plot
And further south… future location of the primary barracks. Leave the bunks in place, the footlockers are cool but are not necessary, scrap the rugs, and the dressers are an expected part of the plan
Turning around… ditch the table
Jumping to the northern interior… future home of the jail and communications
Finally, in the far northwest room… future home of facilities water production
