      i think that would go completely against the principle of "makeshift". Its just thrown together to be able to fire a 50 cal round.

      that is quite the argument good sir!
      my personal issue with the heavily used look is, it doesn't always fit my "arsenal"... you know what i mean? ^^
      e.g when i use modern weapons with modern materials and attachments this just feels out of place, as much as i WANT to use it.... does that make any sense?
      anyway, just my personal opinion, i am really looking forward to the redux (:

      Maybe make a padded stock from the floor tiles or a makeshift padded stock?

      This is essentially a PTRD. The only difference is that the PTRD doesn't have an exposed spring.
