About this image
This is an image from a FO4 mod I'm working on called Weapon Addition and Replacement Suite (WARS).
The WIP thread can be found here.
I've been hard at work on the plugin side of things for WARS lately so there hasn't been much to show in the way of screenshots. This is one of a pair of shots of the AR-15 that has been sitting on my hard drive for a while, so I thought I may as well show them.
In terms of art assets there isn't much new here - though I did tweak the materials a bit. Mainly this pair of shots is to show the difference in weight between the lightest configuration of the AR-15 and the heaviest. Every single weapon mod in WARS has as true-to-life weight values as I can manage; it's taking a lot of research. (Fortunately I'm getting some help in that regard.)
These two shots are also to give a look at the dynamic naming changes in WARS in action. Again, I'm trying to use real-world naming conventions here - that update as you modify the weapon. (M4A1, M16A3, etc.)
(Besides the weight, these stats changed since I took these screenshots.)

The Single Action Army is a possibility - a resource for that was contributed a while ago - but it's a fair way down on the priority list.
This image here shows what looks to be a pretty realistic length for the CQBR barrel (10.3") although with the older style handgaurd (True CQBR and Mk18 Mod 0 used the Knights Armament RIS handguard) and your second image shows the M16A4 almost dead-on, but what kills it for me on both of these is the railed gas block. In real world experience I've never been a huge fan of these because there can be some issues with sight alignment and issues with zero, and the true to life issued service rifles don't have these (Except for the early Mk12 Mod 0, which was revised on the Mod 1 to have a low-profile gas block). Do you plan to have these same barrel lengths but possibly with the traditional A2 style gas block? Or perhaps even the full railed handguard (Mk18 RIS II) for this one, so that players could create in-game a version of the CQBR or the Mk18 Mod 0 or Mod 1. No other mod I've found has nailed the look exactly, but military models and their designations are pretty specific to the parts that go with them. Another small gripe I have on the M16A4 image is that the true M16A4 does not have the relief cuts in the barrel forward of the gas block. That specific profile of barrel is called a "Government Profile" Those cuts would only be found on the 14.5" or 16" M4A1 or M4. The cutout is used for mounting the M203.
For everything else, it all looks pretty spot on! The attention to detail is great! I love that you have a true PVS-4 model and call it as such. The naming of parts in general is very accurate to real world counterparts! I love it!
Thanks for the info on the barrels; I was wondering why the long barrel was shaped like that. In this case I'll have to blame Tigg, as he made the resource I used for the weapon itself.
The NT4 haha...I love it, and hate it all at the same time. That can is built like a tank and can take the abuse we constantly threw at it but it hardly earns the name suppressor in my book. Then again, 5.56 doesn't really suppress well to begin with. It definitely does help the look I love though! Heck, all you need now is the FDE Mk18 RIS II handguard and a SOPMOD stock and you could have all three generations of the CQBR/Mk18 in WARS.
As far as the M16A4's barrel, I was just pointing it out since it seemed you are trying to be real world accurate. The average player probably would never even recognize, and even those that would are still going to enjoy the hell out of WARS!
I am trying to make things relatively true to life in WARS (unless it would be no fun to play, or impractical to do, or whatever), so yes; thanks for the info there.
Edit: Actually, I'm looking at the M16A4 barrel assets right now and it's not Tigg's fault; it's mine. His resource didn't have an M16A4 barrel; I made one by "lengthening" the M4 RIS barrel - and I guess I didn't pay any attention to the barrel cut. I forgot all about that. (To be fair it was like a year ago.)

I hadn't seen that 608 survival rifle version before; that's pretty interesting.
