I wonder if someone ever completed this beast of a suit cause if they did, To all my console & players, we’d have a field day with this against the deathclaws, gulpers and mutant menagerie monsters and to the maker who if you completed this armor, you sir are a hero to the entire Community

I'm gonna echo everyone else and ask how you made this beautiful contraption. I've never seen some of those assets before: is this a model you made, or is it pieced together with workshop magic?

Either way, it's fantastic, puts Ripley's power loader to shame.

Thank you. It's a mesh made out of a PA frame, robot parts and mods, robot armor pieces (mostly from Automatron), weapon parts and some stuff from Liberty Prime. Put together using NifSkope and Outfit Studio.

Any possible way you have the combined nif file? You could release that as a modder's resource so other another modder could work on a working variant.
Heck if it's anything like rigging normal power armor, I could very likely work on getting it working :)
Though dual wielding would probably be impossible, but I am getting some ideas that could do it justice.

I have the nif with the combined meshes. For this to function as a PA it would have to be edited though. There are lot of parts on the back (not seen in the screenshot) that cover the fusion core slot. There are also stuff inside the arms and legs that need to be removed, as well as wires running along the outside which I guess won't animate very well. If you'd like to give it a shot, send me a PM. It would be great to actually bring this into the game without losing to much of the original appearance.

Thankfully I also know how to make a custom Frame too, so If I can figure a way to not use certain animation i.e turn the wheel it could work.

Dual wielding would be a neat concept that I don't think would be that difficult to pull off. If OVERKILL can introduce dual guns into their game, why can't we? The extensive modification system Fallout 4 has could be a great basis, especially since most of the mods now have a firing mode separate from the receiver. Could do a similar mod slot for both ADS mode and a toggle for simultaneous trigger pulls, with individual trigger pull mode overriding ADS to add a second "trigger" and the two ADS modes being what we see in Killing Floor 2.

Actually something like this is EXACTLY what I always wanted to work on :)
To be completely honest, wouldn't even be that hard to do as long as I knew what parts were affixed to it I'd even be able to rig this into existence.

yo electrosus. if you could make this into a reality in game that would be sick. I've often fantasized about how power armor could REALLY be implemented and this is almost exactly what i would always envision. Sadly i have no idea how to mod so i wouldn't even know where to begin.

could you let us know in this feed whenever you start working on it?

1000stenar has recently sent me their mesh combination of it.
So now I'll be looking into it, to see what MAY need to be changed to get it to work correctly.
Though May be able to get it working without changes. Though If I need to remove internal parts *hopefully not* I could try to keep the feel of the original feel and could always make a new Automaton-esk NPC/Companion, heck why wouldn't the Rust Devils make animate Power Armor Frame xP

Though I still plan to focus my work on the Energy/Plasma Flintlock, which I am happy that Mbradshaw did my model request to wonderfully :3

This would be an amazing armour for an off shot of the rust devils (maybe they could be called the metal devils ) hopefully this is more than a proof of concept

Great idea, first thing that comes to my mind is what if you could play as a robot. I know they are other mods that allow you to play as deathclaw, ghoul so why not robot (There might be one already, not sure). That way you could use the original robot attack attack animations somehow. You would just change the meshes of the robot with your PA. As soon as you enter the PA you switch characters. I'm guessing there's a script you (or someone) could write to make that possible. Seriously this would be awesome. Someone help this guy!

This needs some more attention! Imagine just smashing your enemies in this beast of a suit! But I'm also curious how it would work, especially the aiming since you'd be dual wielding, perhaps there would be an option like in other video games to use either both guns and no aiming or just one with aiming and you can switch between those options on the fly?

This is a pretty good idea for a new style of power armor framework in the vein of automotron, and the lore could back it too. Start off by building a basic vanilla power armor frame; upgrade the materials the frame is made of; choose whether to use high power servos, hydraulics, or a mix of the two; Choose which series of plating to use(including raider-esque armor and "The Surge" style armor); Choose the materials to make the armor plating out of; apply custom modifications(including shoulder mounted artillery because why not); apply paint; you can now use a full suit of Whisky Tango Foxtrot series armor.
Please make this into a real thing someone.

This was pretty much my idea when I started building this. What would happen if some robotics expert got his hands on a PA frame and just started adding some cool robot s#*! to it? Unfortunately my modding skills are too weak to make it into an actual wearable power armor.
