Are you still working on the Walther G/K43?
Last we saw of it, it was significantly later to start than the others, so I imagine that would come in an update patch or as a separate mod entirely, yes?
Hopefully at some point the Walther G/K43 gets revisited as it is a more reliable take on the "German Garand/German SVT-40" concept than the Mauser 41, but yeah, the Mauser 41 just looks better and more "Falloutish". The G/K43 looks like... a rifle. It's a good rifle, but it's a lot less distinctive.
One feature that I imagine would be hard to implement, but it seems like it would be super awesome to see in action, is that while the G41M was designed to be fired in semi-auto, it was designed to also use the Mauser 98's bolt-action mechanism as a backup. This was something German high command was very keen on, and as it happened, it was a little more necessary on the battlefield than they would have liked as the gas recapture system that drove the G41M's semi-auto feed was particularly prone to failure in battlefield use.
They also wanted Walther's G41 to have that feature, but Walther completely ignored that requirement when making the G41W.
If I were to try to implement that in the mod, I guess I'd make it so that the action would have to be selected at a crafting bench -- but a "quickswitch" item in the player inventory like the RPG-7 mod by Haxorus uses for switching ammo would probably be the most true to life middle ground. Call it an "Action Tooling Kit" or something to preserve immersion or something.
It's also probably prohibitively difficult to include at this stage, so I'm not even gonna request it here. The mod is already taking enough of your time, I think.
Maybe some heroic animator among the Nexus community will step up to the challenge.
I'm eagerly looking forward to the release.
