Awesome models. There must have been many days of work. There is not enough panzerschreck or panzerfaust for the collection, just kidding)

so this is dead i assume? cuz if it is that rlly sucks. and if its cuz of WARS that sucks even worse since WARS is the reason barely anyone is making weapon mods anymore, not to mention WARS will not likely be released for a very long time. i am a huge history buff thats been studying the Military history and Politics surrounding World War 2 since 2009 and when i heard of this i was so fucking pumped, but to see no new posts since May and Covadonga working on WARS i can only assume its just another casualty to that mod ive come to see as a cancer on the Fallout 4 weapon mods community.

Lovely models. Making one weapon is enough effort and you're making all these--good luck! Looking forward to the 98k, lot of memories of it from Medal of Honor.

Uh, I think you're in the minority here. A lot of us have been waiting for new content from covadonga (Personally been waiting for his Mauser family and M37). And he's back to roll out good times. MG42 might be in the works (idk, but yeah I'd like to see it too), so patience dude.

Look, doing a belt -fed weapon for FO4 its not an easy thing mate, and there is no way to do it, or at least that I know. That being said, is it true that a lot of people have asked me about the Mg42, and yes, it is in the works, but i didn´t want to show it here because of the problems i´ve mentioned before, so it will come but not on the initial release of this pack. Also, a lot of people cares about new content so calm down.

Sorry it is just I love the mg42 (and covadonga's mods) but I'm also impatient I didn't mean anything by it so apologies but I honestly thought your mg42 was dead so I was trying to revive it but once again I am sorry so no harm done?

And to be honest I am kinda excited for this gun at least if it's ported to Xbox since that's the console I use but when and if it's ported I will most likely download it if I have the space so fingers crossed.

If this does come to Xbox I hope you're ready to clean out like half of your load order. With all these guns and all the animations that'll have to be made the file size will probably be 600mb or more. I know I'm gonna have to sacrifice a bunch of stuff.

No problem mate, its just its difficult to make a belt fed gun animations so it won´t be released until we find a good way to implement them ;)

yeah it's very difficult to do belt feed things thats one of the reasons i restrict myself to making laser/energy weapon mods though i also make custom animations for them *very* unique.

You have no idea how much my soul has been yearning for these. To me, 1900-1960 is the period for weapons that DEFINES the Fallout aesthetic.

Are you still working on the Walther G/K43?

Last we saw of it, it was significantly later to start than the others, so I imagine that would come in an update patch or as a separate mod entirely, yes?

Can´t agree more with you haha, ehm nope I´m not working on the Gewehr 43, I switched to the 41 model instead, sorry.

      Well, that's understandable -- it's a great looking rifle.

Hopefully at some point the Walther G/K43 gets revisited as it is a more reliable take on the "German Garand/German SVT-40" concept than the Mauser 41, but yeah, the Mauser 41 just looks better and more "Falloutish". The G/K43 looks like... a rifle. It's a good rifle, but it's a lot less distinctive.

One feature that I imagine would be hard to implement, but it seems like it would be super awesome to see in action, is that while the G41M was designed to be fired in semi-auto, it was designed to also use the Mauser 98's bolt-action mechanism as a backup. This was something German high command was very keen on, and as it happened, it was a little more necessary on the battlefield than they would have liked as the gas recapture system that drove the G41M's semi-auto feed was particularly prone to failure in battlefield use.

They also wanted Walther's G41 to have that feature, but Walther completely ignored that requirement when making the G41W.

If I were to try to implement that in the mod, I guess I'd make it so that the action would have to be selected at a crafting bench -- but a "quickswitch" item in the player inventory like the RPG-7 mod by Haxorus uses for switching ammo would probably be the most true to life middle ground. Call it an "Action Tooling Kit" or something to preserve immersion or something.

It's also probably prohibitively difficult to include at this stage, so I'm not even gonna request it here. The mod is already taking enough of your time, I think.

Maybe some heroic animator among the Nexus community will step up to the challenge.

Well done, the quality of the modelling shown is staggering, and the few that are already textured look absolutely superb.

I'm eagerly looking forward to the release.
