   Actually... not as bad, but you have to keep in mind, that power armor was built for combat in extreme environments, It's basically an armored haz-mat suit.
   
   It needs all those hoses and filters for the users safety.
   
   And infantry helmet was designed more for shrapnel stopping than bullets, so simply adding face cover won't be as good idea, if Chinese rockets are locking on to you.
   
   And "sun cover" limits users perception vertically and therefore is an disadvantage in urban combat.

      I was under the impression this was essentially a higher grade homemade power armour suit. Like the raider one.
