A manual, placed at seperate locations in the commonwealth, which will give you the power armor training perk which will in turn allow you to operate power armor.
I'd imagine something like a popup saying "you have no idea how to use this" forcing you to unequip all the parts from the armor to use it and after you killed the deathclaw the frame will fail because you are too dumb to use it correctly.
That scene and its dialogue will be removed and you'll instead run down the roof and kill things the normal way. I'm not sure what to do about the deathclaw yet
this is all your fault JohnnyTest91, without this request we would've at least received a simple version of this mod. Now it's become overambitious and quite possibly abandoned (or so i fear!) haha, jk tho but still>:/
So damn excited for this. In my head canon, fusion cores exist purely for people who don't have training in power armor, as a form of assistance. Where as people with power armor training can use them easily, without a fusion core. To me, that makes the whole fusion core thing make sense in context with the other games.
You aren't raining in on my parade. It was never, ever said that he knows how to use power armor. He was in the 108th, sure, but so were the guys in the anchorage simulation. They wore combat armor. If you're referring to the intro cinematic, the guy in power armor isn't him.

How will you handle the first mission with PA?
