About this image
I get this strange terrain decal issue when I place a custom Sleeping Bag in some places - here's an example of what it looks like in Far Harbor, but in other places it can be sand or dirt.
I also get them on most script placed objects, whatever their type: furniture, activator, miscObjects...
Anybody has found a solution to that?
I doubled-checked everything in Nifskope, CK, Materials, textures, can't figure out how to prevent this. Dropped armors or weapons do not have that issue though...

Oops, Heaven beat me to it, but yeah, this mod works for me to get rid of the ugly decals.
Thanks - yeah I just found out by loading that Far Harbor spot in the CK. These have no 3D and they're basically textures sets "dropped" from the sky which are enforced on any object placed on the ground. They're everywhere!.. What puzzles me though is as far as I can tell from tests, they don't seem to show on dropped armors or weapons - so unless it's hard coded, there may be some way to keep these decals from adding their textures on top of dropped items. I'll keep digging. Thanks :).
