@ rkelly: It's a mod I'm working on called "Fallout: Ex Machina", it is in it's infancy, and was something I started with FNV. It is a cyberpunk style mod, heavily influenced by Games such as "Deus Ex", and borrows heavily from various cyberpunk media.
@Mythos214: As far as aiming, I agree. The proper mechanics where not implemented for such type of combat in FO4. However, I have found it kind of balances out in that using the grenade/missile projectile type mechanics for throwing weapons are suitable considering how difficult in RL it is to hit targets accurately with throwing weapons. That being said, throwing weapons using the grenade mechanics are good for initial engagement, where as subsequent attacks using the same weapon type would be much more difficult, as the target knows what is coming if they don't move. I boost the effectiveness on the first sneak attack, and the vanilla AI knows to try and avoid additional same attacks. This is a fair trade off imho.
I like throwing weapons, the only issue I have with them is they are TOO hard to aim because the game isn't really set up for that (unfortunately) and the mods I've seen that add them just don't seem to do enough damage at higher levels.. unless that's because I don't spec into melee perks...
I will admit though, getting sneak kills with throwing weapons is pretty satisfying, lol.
