Coincidentally, the pixellation that results from having the Godrays quality set below ultra quality yields a nice blurring effect on Caesia's left side, which is in shadow, at least until you zoom in and see what the visual artifact actually is.
That setting bothers me so much. If you change the quality between Ultra, High, Medium, and Low, the difference is negligible except between Ultra and anything lower, and the most noticeable change is the lack of pixellation around the edges of models when looking into the godrays. The performance impact is horrendous, but the volumetric lighting makes a huge difference in the game's atmosphere, especially during foggy weather.
