    I can see this going on a companion who found a pristine samurai sword and some pre war books about bushido and the samurai and set out to model themselves after them.

    Awesome set as always, but don’t you think trying to stay within the lore boundaries is a bit limiting?

      well clearly there was a wave of interest interest in Japan at some point in pre-war America, since there's no way all the swords used for shish-kabobs were WW2 trophies, and Japan was still part of the Western sphere of influence in the fallout cold war. From there it figures somebody, somewhere in America, remembered Samurai and made some Samurai looking armor.

      Don't forget where does all the japan bits come from to make all those nuka world pack armors and in previous fallout game there was an actual samurai in full armor stuck on an alien space ship.
