thank you. the idol for my character is my better half, she's a native chinese.
My first tries were hard, I had an imagination how she should look, but used too many pictures of east asian females as idols to create my first .preset. What I didn't want was an another asian doll.
But XannahDeux is also right, when you made your first preset, is not hard at all, what you need is patience and one east asian character you took as idol for your character. because, there is a huge variety how an east asian face can look like. also people have different imaginations/preference how an east asian face should look like. ( mostly japanese/korean )
my face preset is chinese ( made after characteristics of my better half's face ), approved by her :D, but despite I had a real chinese face as idol, there will be always people who say your face preset don't look like chinese ( or japanese, or korean, etc ). If you do some exchange via PM's, you'll notice that the other one has an another preference/imagination.
I had the luck that a chinese nexus member had some constructive critics. Even during chat with some chinese, there was no common consensus how a, in my case chinese, face should look like, because of their individual influences, like own origin, preference of beauty standards, etc. but I got a very good hint from a chinese in the end, only what her real life idol think should be important...:)
