Still a bit of work to do with the textures. The mesh of the jacket also needs a bit of tweaking. Plan to release this along with a version of the Desert Ranger Combat Armour and the Desert Ranger Combat Helmet Mark II, have to mod the female versions too....
I did a few little mesh edits today but still lots to do on it. I tried to get the segments working in the .nif but found it quite tricky, I believe the segments are like the old skin partitions in Skyrim, I may be totally wide of the mark though! Was hoping when the PC wears it, it hides part of the mesh for the Pip Boy and when an NPC wears it, it appears normally sleeved. If not I'll just make it slimmer on the arms.
The belt could maybe have a holster instead of the pouch and the textures on the smaller buttons need some TLC.
It's based on a British Rifleman Officers Jacket from the 18th/19th c. If it was longer I'd have to take off the belt coz of how its sits on the reverse/back. To me the belt adds a nice angle aesthetically to the buttons, if that makes any sense?
I'd like to think so. I'm not working on this one much at the moment but each time I open up Blender I take a look and ponder for a bit with it. It's very much still on my list to release.
Of late I've added more belts and remade the chestpiece. Gradually working on the leg textures, they won't be full leather like above. The holster still needs to be made. Ideally a crossbelt added. In the Blend file the mesh also has a bag and a bandana.
Finishing off a cuppla shirt outfits at the moment, once they're done I'll make my way back onto the fuller outfits/armours like this one.
