How to alter Curie:
- Open the console
- type player.placeatme 1647c6 . This will spawn a clone of Curie you need to edit.
- Click the clone you have spawned and type tai. Note its RefID.
- type showlooksmenu *RefID*
- Once done, disable the clone you have edited by clicking and typing disable .
- Now go back to the original Curie and type showlooksmenu 1647c6. You have to change her hair into the same style as clone. This should make the face default to the one you just edited.

PLEASE READ STICKY BEFORE DOING ANYTHING
Every actor male or female needs a extra setting regardless if it´s NG or prior.
Under properties ACBS-Confriguration you need to add Is Chargen Face Preset, for NG user´s it needs to be done before meeting the char, very importent.
Have a json ready prefered tested on your own char. So you transfer all your mods quirks and so on.
On the lastest build and tested,
When Curie leaves the chair and you are done with the talking, just let her walk around.
Open console and type player.placeatme 1647c6
Close Console
The moment the synth clone spawn open console again and get her ref id and type Tai
Now the easy part slm the ref id you used on tai and just add a json. Close LM and take a look on the curie clone to see if evrything is as you want it to be. 'if not slm again and do what you need to do and save preset.
Now whit the same ref id type disable so you remove the clone synth.
Go and find Curie Synth
Open console get her ref id and just use the same json on her and you have a perfect match.
Remember NEVER to do anything on the Curie synth only on the Curie clone otherwise you just get weird stuff floating around curie.

DO NOT USE TAI WITHOUT HAVING A NPC MARKED.
What does tai mean:
General Information:
This command will enable or disable (toggle) AI for the target. Usually, any target with a disabled ID will freeze until it their AI is re-enabled.
So when using tai with no target makes the hole game freeze.
Currently there are 3 Curie´s in the game
Robot Curie - do not edit this version
Synth Curie - NEEDS EDIT´S to make use off hph/hpr
Player´s Curie - NEEDS EDIT´s to make use off hph/hpr
hph/hpr - high poly head by Sqr17
I've tried every trick in the book, including the ones offered in comments here. Desdemona for example has a FMIN of null, has "chargen preset" flag. I have a mod of her that works but i'd like to be able to edit the hair.
It would be nice to have a permanent solution to not being able to edit certain NPCs like this, it's seems so random and annoying.
Easy way would be downloading this mod GK Isabel Cruz and just edit her to your liking. Or you need to patch her yourself and remove the FMIN Value completly.
I play with Horizon mod which gives easy access to all NPC so in general I just open the esp and remove the FMIN value completly from all female npc so I can change there apperance to my liking either with manual ingame or slap a preset on the npc.

Follow-up: Was able to get GK Isabel Cruz to work, but now I can't edit her lol. I used XEdit to clear the FMIN value (was set to 4), but that didn't help either. I can somewhat edit her with SLM but whenever I try to change her hair, it doesn't change and often just resets all other face changes to GK. Loading presets seems to affect face but not hair. Was able to use xEdit on GK mod to get what I wanted.

after a while testing i found out if i use it this way its don't glitch any more:
-type player.placeatme 1647c6 . This will spawn a clone of Curie you need to edit.
-Click the clone you have spawned and type tai. Note its RefID.
-type showlooksmenu *RefID* (Once done accept changes)
-Now go back to the original Curie and type showlooksmenu *RefID* . You have to change her hair into the same style as clone.
-Once done, disable the clone you have edited by clicking and typing disable .
so in short : Disable the clone when you fully done with both. and for some resson i had to use the RefID instead of the "1647c6" on last step (in my case 2th last step)

and by the the way if people actually start reading they would have noticed in line 6 that you need to select hair on org curie.
Curie is invisible. I tried to fix it by spawning a clone and modifying it, but it doesn't fix it. I even put the command "disable" and "enable" the original Curie.
I found the solution:
If for some reason Curie becomes invisible, do these steps:
- Open the command console.
- Click on her and type recycleactor.
She will respawn.
Warning. Everything she has in her inventory will disappear.
Don't forget to load the Preset on the invisible Curie.
That should fix the issue.
2 factors which needs to be done is to make sure that they are setup correctly when downloading a replacer or change the value in a patch to the correct value.
Places are ACBS - Configuration / under flags make sure she is Chargen face Preset - very importent Value,
next at the buttom you will find
FMIN - Faciel Morph Intensity which base value is 2 and needs to be corrected to a big 0 also very importent
Here is preset for piper been a long time since I dowloaded this one, so can´t recall if it´s set correctly, but it takes less than 2 min to see if the value are correct in XEdit

And Curie is the only one with a clone ingame all other npc you need to fix in XEdit if needed before slapping a preset on them, and just to be clear there are several npc with wrong FMIN and ACBS Value
