   It may very well be vanilla. There are some odd radiation sources in the game, to be sure. I found a radioactive empty space at the northern edge of the map, near the path to the Nakano residence. There was no barrel or pool of glowing goop, or any other object; just an indent in a hill, and a space where the radiation spiked up to 30+rads/s.
   
   Try using the tcl command to clip through the truck and the surrounding terrain and look around. There could be waste barrels in the truck, or it could be an invisible marker, like the one I found.

      If is, probably invisible marker. Already tried TCL.
