Aahhh... Had you lately reasons to see the bookstore more often? ;) :)
The lightning is great there. Its almost sad that there are no quests far as I remember and as a result, most of the playerbase just bypassed it (maybe).
Haha! Yep, I'd just come out from the ruined tower and ran through the bookstore only for it to be pitch black outside, so I ducked back in so Martha could rest for a bit :) It's a shame that there's not really anything significant in there... except for some sweet God rays!
