The former Croup Manor has been a location, long forgotten by the inhabitants of the Commonwealth. In late 2290 the feral ghouls crawling there where whiped out and the manor became a full member of the New Commonwealth. While only a few settlers lived here in the beginning, the place became famous for its scenic view across the Nahant Bay. Over the course of two long years the settlement developed into a kind of "holiday"-settlement. Today a bunch of settlers is trying not only to rebuild the Croup Manor, but the whole Nahant peninsula. From time to time even the Armed Forces send wounded or stressed soldiers to Croup Manor for recreation.
