Oh, no problem on being late, thanks for visiting this!   It's too bad the Mojave mod hasn't been added to since it was released, was hoping for more for it.  They did a great job on recreating this little piece of the New Vegas wasteland in F4.

Gret set of pics here Pat. Raven is one of the iconic - and most beautiful - of Fallout characters. You did a terrific job of recreating her in FO4. I DID see the flutter of multi color wings - and made a hasty retreat If they're anything like in Vegas....... NO WAY Maybe I should go scorpion hunting though. Your double of Raven on the steel shoulder really shows just HOW much attention to detail the team has put into this recreation. Intereting comparison.

Hey, Steff!   Thanks so much, especially for thinking my kitten is beautiful! (Raven thanks you, too!)  I have to tell you, the F4 Mojave cazadores are just as nasty as their NV predecessors.

I suddenly remembered taking that shot of Rav on the ranger statue and just had to do it again and I discovered that the shoulders of the F4 Mojave statue are not nearly as flat, wide or long as its NV counterpart.  I  remember being able to take her out of tcl in NV, tried it in F4 annnnd . . . she shot down like the metal was greased and it was a long fall.   Good thing I had her in godmode, but the things she said after she splatted on the ground (thanks to Player Comments and Headtracking).   She would have made a Navy veteran proud of her use of colorful metaphors.

Thanks so much, Mila!   It's a great place for exploring (and if you've played FNV, getting major deja vu ), but not all that much otherwise to do there.  One runs into the occasional critters, a few Jackal Gang members, some NCR soldiers at the outpost but it's pretty quiet.  There is more NPC's (at least it seemed to me) on the strip in New Vegas.

I don't have time for the text, my sincere apologies. I love the shots though, I even had to scroll back up to make sure it was FO4 you really knocked it out the ball park with this set, wonderful stuff my friend

You mentioned Boxcars, I thought his skeleton next the chair was a really nice touch.

Ya know, I never made the connection between that skeleton and Boxcars until you said something now.  It is a nice touch.  I'd like to see them finish the map up and add the regulars we see in NV (with voice actors not the robotic place holders ).  Thanks, Jim!

I make a point of shooting him and Swanick so I had to go in there and check, sadly it looked like my NV character had already been there several years earlier. :D

I don't usually shoot Swanick, but I do like watching him bolt off into the Ivanpah Flats area--he becomes giant scorpion hash p.d.q.

We took the time to go into each of the Nipton houses, too, it was amazing how they reproduced them.  When we got to the house with the various traps including that cage with the three bark scorpions, I approached with caution, but it was empty.

I noticed a couple of places missing, the Prospectors Den had a pile of rocks where the door should be and the Morning Star Cavern wasn't there or at least I couldn't find it, still it was very impressive for only a few months work.

I couldn't find Morningstar Cavern either.  When we approached the spot, a feral dog attacked, so we kilt it.  Then we looked around, no cavern to be found, meanwhile I kept hearing growling and paws pattering on the ground and the sound was coming from under the ground.  So, don't know if the cavern is really missing or the entrance is buried underneath the ground.  The feral dog making the noise from underground finally popped onto the surface.

Hi Pat, hope you are well

Shots look great, I've been holding off on this, want to let them get it smoothed out and fleshed out etc as they say they're going to continually improve it.

Might save it for January ish when I'm really hankering after warm tarmac and empty night roads, winter in the UK is a very dreary affair

Hey, Mart, how are ya?   And thanks!  It does need some polishing but overall, the landscaping is in pretty good shape, if rather empty (other than the occasional critters).  What I noticed most was, it's so quiet there--I hear constant gunshots and grenades in my Commonwealth.   We were at the rest stop and all I could hear was the wind and the creak of the windmill I placed for water.  Very peaceful.

It would be a good place to visit in January.   I know what you mean by winter being dreary--it's dreary (usually) in my neck of the woods, too.  We generally get tons of rain, but occasionally there's a snowstorm.

Thanks so much, Ian!  We went western themed, even though Raven wears a tac vest in New Vegas (but! she does wear jeans and boots ).
