"Delilah Journal Entry 42: was wanderin' off past that Drumlin diner again, came across some people having an argument about one of them being something called a.....synth? I've been hearing about them from nearly everyone I come across here, something about robots that look like people, I don't really understand it. While I was out there though, my pip boy picked up a radio signal I'd never seen before, something about a Casdin caravans? Some gal' looking for a bodyguard or a business partner or something along those lines. Either way, stealing, scavenging, and working as pest control for the nearby "settlements" isn't getting me much more in the way of caps, so figured I'd look into it. Seems like I hit the jackpot, she wanted a traveling companion while she does her deliveries for some of the nearby settlements, and wanted to do a bit of scavenging to boot. Talked her into giving me a whole 700 caps, think I could get used to this..."
