When the T-45 was deployed to the front lines of Alaska In 2067, several potential improvements on the design were immediately noticed. These improvements were made over a myriad of designs ending in the T-51. One of the earliest designs produced was the T-46. A suit improving on the T-45 in many ways. Including a bulkier build, heavier breathing apparatus and better power management. Although, while the suit was produced, it never saw official use on the from lines. Only being found rarely in Pre-War facilities. With more gradual improvements, the design would go on to evolve into the T-47R, T-49 and eventually the T-51.
