I was planning on releasing it as a mesh/texture replacement for another mod, though there are some small issues with the front end of it. Basically because of the way I tried to smooth out the mesh in Blender, it's probably not that noticeable though unless you're looking for it.
Learning experience would be a good way to put it, yes. I'm actually kind of surprised how much more user-friendly the tools are these days compared to the last time I tried anything like this, years back, and with A.I. in the picture I'm willing to bet mods are only going to get more insane and even easier to make in the future. Chat GPT can code, by the way, just as an example of what I'm talking about, and is constantly getting updates, but I'm getting off track.
