Morbid, but true, harvesting and selling body parts is a big problem. Good quote from Robespierre, wise words, but it didn't keep him from the guillotine in the end. Something like "Power corrupts; and absolute power corrupts absolutely" (Lord Acton).

I admit that the word morbid surprised me a little but it is a term that is well suited to describe the deadly action of unbridled liberalism. You like me, we live in supposedly rich countries but these countries are populated by people who become impoverished day by day and sink into misery. Finally, nothing has changed much since the time of Robespierre.

Sucking on the golden calf too much can lead to complete addiction. It’s like heroin, just as addictive, just as deadly.

"The Incorruptible" was certainly right. That's what you call capitalism. A glimpse into the future? Or rather into the present!
    Interesting article. Thanks for sharing.

Indeed, he was absolutely right. A speech that should be taught in all schools. But the so-called holders of the truth prefer to wallow in ignorance both literally and figuratively and retain only this image of the implacable executioner during "La terreur". Yet, more than 200 years later, his words still reason and are more relevant than ever.
