Heckler & Koch designed and produced a versatile submachine gun in the mid 20th Century. The weapon was designed to be modular and versatile, making it the ideal weapon for law enforcement throughout the globe. However armed forces begin to adopt the MP5 and since its success in the 20th Century, the weapon is in use by many armed forces including the U.S. Military and the People's Liberation Army of China.
The weapon system can also use multiple calibers such as the standard 9MM round up to the powerful and heavy 10MM round, which is in use by U.S. Forces. The options are endless and even with the bombs dropped, these weapons are still in use by raiders and Gunners. There's rumors that the Gunners are producing new MP5 in a disclosed weapons plant, which is why new MP5s are ending up in the hands of raiders and even Super Mutants.
