Hey, So I'm starting to put more work into my massive rifles pack. I'm starting with the AR. Specifically the Infantry Assault Rifle. As it's meant to let you create multiple variants used by the Marine Corps Infantry Units. You can attach parts from stuff like the A1 Barrel, A2 Stock, A4 Barrel, whatever.
"But the M16s they used didn't have wood?" In this mod you can use both Wood or Polymer Furniture for the A1 Barrel, Salvaged Barrel, the receiver's grip, and the A2 Stock.
Balance is something important to me so part of what I'm showing is my attempt to give every barrel a purpose as you level up. The Light Barrel/CQB Barrel in particular can allow you to use a big fat DBAL Laser Sight and a Foregrip which will rip off the rail covers as well. Otherwise, the Sole Survivor will use the bare minimum to grip it comfortably.
I feel like I should Re-Iterate, this is NOT a Service Rifle mod. if you want a Service Rifle, I'd use the other mods available. This is more so my take on an AR Platform mod.
"What's with all the tactical stuff" I mean they're just rails and a laser. Bethesda themselves let you use polymer stuff like the Hunting Rifle's Tactical Stock and the Combat Rifle's M4 Carbine inspired stock. I think you'll live. Again fitting this game is something I try to do whenever I can.
This mod won't be out for a good while but I'll be working on it, I promise. There's still 4 more rifles after this. Yes I added another one. You'll see in due time as it'll be the next one developed.
