With the bald man with the scar now dead her husband, no, the man she loved, can finally rest. However it is far from a happy ending. The child, her son she adpoted as her own and vowed to rescue, Shaun, is in the hands of the Institute.

"It's over... I lost him..." She murmurs to her ally. There's no way she can find this Institute and save him, can she?

Nick reassures her that it's not yet over, the case is not shut until they find the boy. Suggesting they return to Diamond City to speak with the woman named Piper, Hannah solemly agrees and they depart the fort. As she steps out upon the rooftop a deafening roar fills the skies above. A massive blimp looms overhead. A voice booms out from aboard the vessel.

"We... Are the Brotherhood of Steel."

A crumbling robot and a nosey reporter aren't the absolute best cantidates for facing the Institute, however maybe the Brotherhood and their blimp can. With a glimmer of hope Hannah sets off for Diamond City to regroup, and perhaps learn more about this Brotherhood of Steel.
