"Follow the Freedom Trail."

After returning to Diamond City, Nick and Hannah at last confided in Piper the truth behind their investigations. The Institute had Shaun, it was over as far as Hannah was concerned. Yet like before Nick was not one to give up insisting they still had a lead with the one possible key the old mercenary's memories might hold.

"Meet me at the Memory Den in Goodneighbor."

As Nick went on ahead Hannah asked the reporter about a rumor she had heard about a group of fighters who were at war with the Institute. The Railroad they called themselves. Her only advice was that of following the "Freedom Trail". Upon reaching Goodneighbor Hannah met with Nick. Through his aid and the skills of Doctor Imari they found the clue, a target the mercenary was after who had retreated to a place called the "Glowing Sea".

"Oh no, no way, I'm not going there." Hannah told Imari, it was a fool's errand to rush headlong into a radioactive wasteland such as there. But it may be the only option. A dangerous and quite possibly deadly one, but the only option. Unless...

And that is how Hannah found herself at gunpoint in front of the leader of the Railroad. A search of the Eastern Boston area had lead her to their base. A man whom she didn't know was willing to vouch for Hannah and now their leader was considering the thought. Desdemona stood there, staring down at the woman who had arrived unnanounced.

"Would you risk your life to save a synth?"

Hannah wasn't sure, would she? Until now she had never seen or knew that a synth could truly represent a human. People spoke of these man-made beings as vile machines that must be destroyed yet... Nick was a synth and not only helped her locate the man who destroyed her family but even risked his own life in order to get her where she was now.

Would I risk my life for a synth...? Would I risk my life... for Nick?
