About this image

Oh New DLC that has elevators! So going to add them to a building I have already made. Go to add the elevator and wtf? Floors are not lining up. So for comparing I made this ugly building. The left is normal walled building using the doubled floor pieces and the stair floor piece. Bottom is the single floor pieces snapping to the base of the elevator. As you can see the elevators fourth floor ends up halfway through the buildings fourth floor. On the right is walls to show the gap between floors Top is a roof piece and a single thickness floor the second and third floor has 2 double thick floor pieces with a single thickness one sandwiched between and no place anywhere mods to sandwich that floor piece.

This elevator model is useless if you want to add an elevator to a normal scaled building using any of the building kits.

I know... Why could they set some sort of quality referendum and uses the same measurements on barns, warehouses and all the building materials?

Being an construction engineer I found the lack of any quality effort very irritating when we try to build anything with this DLC..

Hopefully a mod will come out to fix it or use those already out

What do you expect for $4.99? It's from Bethesda remember. -- I agree it's pathetic what they release.

While it is annoying, it IS meant to be used for the Warehouse and Barn type set. Some Modder or another might be annoyed enough to play with it sooner or later, but for now I would just stick to DD's Elevator Mod if your using anything else than the Warehouse/Barn set.

the 4 floor elevator seems to have issues with snapping to stuff. You can snap stuff to it easily enough but not the other way around.

Also the elevators are sized for warehouses and barns.
