About this image

A furious radstorm whipped around the two figures clad in Power Armor.

"We need to get to shelter!" shouted the man in T-60 armor.
"It's just a little further, follow close and keep an eye on Dogmeat!" replied a woman wearing X-01.

Leading in front was a dog whose nose despite their surroundings managed to lead them this far into a place known as the Glowing Sea. It was a wonder how the mutt survived but Hannah wasn't about to question it. She'd seen mechanical men, massive horned beasts that stood on two legs with claws powerful enough to cleave a man in two. There was something special about Dogmeat, or it could have just been all the irradiated canned dog food she had fed him. For the last month and a half under the code name of Agent Bullseye, Hannah has worked for the Railroad.

Saving Shaun was important, there was nothing more crucial to her. However a place called the Glowing Sea surely wasn't something to take lightly. If she wanted to survive she'd have to find Power Armor to withstand the radiation, she'd have to improve her aim with guns, she'd have to think like a real scavver. So she assisted the Railroad in saving synths. Hannah wasn't any closer to understanding them but the truth was slowly revealed to her. They were as human as any true human, they only wanted a life away from the tyrannical rule of the Institute. However fortune was perhaps on her side. As long as the scientist had survived the trip into the Glowing Sea then there was hope. And with the grizzled old mercenary long dead the Institute couldn't silence the scientist, right.

And now, here she was nearly two months later headed into the heart of the Glowing Sea. Scouring old military outposts and ruins she managed to salvage two suits of Power Armor for the trip, and with MacCready's help improved her skills and aim with firearms. No more was she the soft Vault Dweller who had a lucky break bringing down her lover's killer, no more was she vulnerable and weak. She had become a force to be reckoned with. At least this is what she told herself.

"Lights! Over there!"
MacCready called out pointing over the ridge. Down in the very center of a massive crater sat a tiny cluster of metal makeshift huts.

"People? Out here?" Hannah spoke aloud dubiously, "How in the hell could anyone survive in this place?"

"No idea, but maybe this scientist of yours lives there."

Hannah nooded, it could be possible. By the look of the structures of the buildings below this surely wasn't something from pre-war. It meant there was life below. She could only hope this was it.

"Well, let's go introduce ourselves."
