   Thanks for the feedback everyone! I think I am going to make both 'clean' and 'drity' versions of this machine (i.e. pre- and post-war). A lot of the bits that appear dark in these screenshots are actually very bright and shiny when seen in the game -- these renders are from Nifskope so not all shader effects are displayed. I think I will add a bit of color to the rim of the base as AWARHERO suggested in the comments below...
