What I like about your textures is the "love" you put in them. You don't just make it higher res, you also make it more aesthetic to the Fallout universe. I assume you're gonna be re-texturing all the small objects now, like the toolbox, chests, ect. Its good to do the lootable ones because its what we stare at the most lol. This looks good, can't wait to throw it into my game. Your textures in New Vegas we're great, but I think you really have stepped up your game by focusing on one object, and making the small object an entire project.
Hey Tapioks, I'm curious as to how you make these retextures, and I hope I don't take too much of your time answering this. What do you do exactly? Do you open up photoshop and kind of "color" over it. Or do you do stuff with UV maps.
EDIT: Also is that a Vim Machine in the background. Are you hinting at re-texturing that haha.
The way I approach making textures is just opening them in Photoshop, enlarging, and then recreating all of the visual elements of the texture. I also tend to work more with layers, blending modes and selections rather than actually 'drawing' details per se. I might make a brief video about how I make my textures, because I just kinda learned on my own and it's probably not the 'right' way
EDIT: That IS a Vim machine in the background ... but I have not started working on it at all yet. Not sure what I will be working on next...
