There's a lot of people out there (including me) who regard the Mauser 98 (and the KAR 98k), as the ultimate and truest expression of what a bolt action rifle can aspire to be. Your earlier Mauser mod was already definitely good (especially with an animation swap mod), but it looks like second time is the charm for capturing the true majesty of these awesome weapons.
I think people are seriously going to love these redone rifles, man. It'll be well worth the wait!
Still hoping to see this mod finished someday. There's some nice bolt action mods out there but they're all modern hunting rifles. Would be nice to see one solid old school bolt action military rifle.
I'm just wondering, will you be re-designing the suppressors also? That was my only gripe with the pretty much perfect Mauser Family, perhaps just reappropriate the suppressor from the vanilla lever-action rifle?
