    If this comes with full custom animations of the sliding spring on the top and bottom fed cartridge I'll DL this so fast. I have a huge soft spot for classic WWII weaponry.

      Dude, same here. I kinda wish there was another K98K mod. One that looks like the WWII version, not the WWI version, like in the Mauser Family mod.

      Wow can't wait! Such a cool rifle, to bad it has a bad habit of blowing up in your face though

      The thing about G43's is that they're usually way over-gassed, because they typically have huge gas ports. This over-gassing causes the bolt to violently batter the receiver as the weapon cycles(which damages it), or even unlock early, when there's still high pressures in the chamber. These issues, compounded by shooters using cheap, poor-quality, commercial ammunition, is what has lead to the reports of G43's going kaBoom. These warhorses are very old and were produced in half-bombed factories by forced laborers during the latter parts of the war when resources were scarce. Frankly I doubt the remaining examples would survive a nuclear war.

      Thankfully this is a video game, so none of those issues will come into play when I'm sniping raiders!
