Thank you for replying. It's hard to tell if the good mod authors are active anymore, most posts are looking dead from the best ones and many have given up on their projects and moved on it seems. truly looking forward to this. Hope things are going well for you in the real world

I'm extremely excited for this one, especially if it sees a console release. I've been dying for a proper stripper-clip loaded gun to be added to the game, and this IS one of the more underrepresented and less heard-of designs VS. something like the C96.

Since you're centered on WW1 and 2 weapons, and are open to ideas, how about a Webley MK VI? Being a top-break revolver, you could use the vanilla flare gun animations for reloading(like the author of the Schofield mod did), and being a double/single action it could have a good fire rate. After the wars, Webleys imported to the US had their cylinders shaved to accept moonclips, so .45 ACP could be loaded in them, so you could chamber it in the vanilla .45, and presto. Easy as pie. Animations are already done, there's framework for the double-action, and you can just have it use vanilla ammo. If I had the tools and talent I'd do it myself because it'd probably be extremely easy.

If you dont mind taking on new ideas or trying weapons out. I think a M60,PKM,FN MAG,SAW or any other belt fed would be nice, but without! the 50-200 box and instead just a belt of all the ammo you have in your inventory! Like hold the gun with 1 hand and the belt with the other. Also I like the look of this gun as well!

Haha, yes I like to hear more ideas, for now I´m centered on ww1-ww2 weapons, but really, from what I´ve heard, animating a belt fed weapon is a pain.

WW2 weapons you say? Why, the FG 42 is WW2 weapons! And Fallout 4 has two sets of fairly decent side-mag animations, how coincidental!

Someone is already working on a FG-42 I believe. And from what I have heard animating belt-fed mg's is impossible or near impossible due to how animations and bones are handled.

Ok,but what about my Idea of the belt instead of the box? So you could feed the pig RAMBO STYLE! Maybe you could try that with the MG42 or Browning 1919

Well, there could be a possible method of doing the belt fed anim but will be wonky. For an LMG type weapon, honestly I think that the best way of doing it with success is by a magazine, as an example , the mg42 seen in call of duty waw.

Yes,that would be like the tier 1 and 2 mags then larger mags would be tier 3 then tier 5 is the belt, witch the belt reloads faster and carries more ammo. I mean it would be hard to animate but It would be so worth it!

They DID make drum mags for the MG42 though. So it could still be done in a convincing manner.

      https://www.google.com/search?q=mg42+drum+mag&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwjZ6KmOpfLSAhUh3IMKHXDyC-QQ_AUICSgC&biw=1536&bih=794

Also, if you did the MG34, you could allow for single shot and full auto receivers. =]

yeah, and the same as the mg34/42 they can shoot in semi auto, the mg34 can do it by the trigger design

Yeah, that's right. I remember them being a little different, I thought that it was only the MG34 that could shoot in semi auto though, but I guess that's true of both of them.

While we are at the subject of steyr,
is it possible that you will think about the idea of adding the steyr mpi69?
    btw the pistol looks great!
    keep it up.

This looks fantastic! I'd kill to see what you could do with a Lewis Gun, and seeing all the variants for it that could be made as weapon attachments.

Yeah, I agree, a Lewis gun would be pretty cool. Not sure if the rotating mag on the top would be possible though.
