Hello. This is a request for help if anyone has any tips. I'm stuck in a bug where I can't use any terminals or stoves or workbenches or anything. I couldn't open a door because the terminal would just pause and kick me out, and I finally had to resort to "modpos x -15" a few times to get past the door and then summon my companions to me.

But now I notice I can't use anything, not even stoves. I'm not in combat, and I've tried unequipping everything (prid 14 followed by unequipall), and it still won't clear.

I also tried exiting and restarting the game, but that didn't help.

Has anyone run into this, and does anyone know what the console command to fix this might be? Thanks :)

    Have you tried sitting down on anything? I remember a similar problem in Skyrim that stuck until that strange fix. Not sure if it would here. Just saying, because it's almost the same game engine.

    A quick google search directed me to people who had a similar issue and they used N.E.S.T Survival Bunkers mod.

    Did you by any chance use this ?

      Hi, Crimsomrider. Thanks for the comment and suggestion. I never heard of that mod

      What I figured out is if I try other characters the issue doesn't exist (meaning it's not the mods but the save files themselves are somehow corrupt).

      However, I had to go way, way back on this save file to get a version in which the bug doesn't exist (I'd been away from settlements for a couple of weeks, and as it's survival mode only the sleeps at settlements make new files).

      So basically I think Fable Woeborn is effectively dead. I'll have to make a new character unless I can figure out a console command to fix the issue, which is theoretically still possible.

      Thanks, Ritchieblackmore. So far I've tried uninstalling the last several mods I installed, and that didn't help.

    I've never run into this! I'm glad, it sounds obnoxious as all hell =\ Sorry bud... I couldn't even tell you where to start except maybe disabling all mods and enabling one at a time.

      Thanks, Carnagefiend. It kinda happened all of a sudden without any new mods installed.

      Come to think of it, though, Deacon used a terminal a few minutes before. I wonder if somehow Deacon using a terminal locked me out of everything. I've done this quest at least 8 times and didn't run into this before, but who knows. Oh well, thanks

      OOOH! I think I know what you're talking about now!

      I had that problem, Deacon was supposed to use a terminal. In my game he didn't. He stood there like an idiot. And since this was survival, I had to start ALL OVER. I'm guessing you've tried picking up a save before that point?

      *Laughs* That's the quest, and I let Deacon use that terminal, but then the next terminal was unsable and not one he uses. So I had to skip the terminal with modpos commands. Now I can't use anything.

      If I can't fix it then I'll probably just start a new character. I'm going to log back in and try teleporting to a test room and back to see if fast travel clears it. I'll come back with results afterward. Thanks

      FYI, fast travel (via the coc command) didn't clear it.

      I then unloaded all my equipment and did a "recycleactor" on myself, and that didn't clear it.

      I'm in survival mode so I don't have another save spot except a long time ago. If I can't figure out a solution I'll probably retire this character (who's just short of 99th level) and start a new one.

      I haven't even done the first main quest after letting Preston out. I've avoided Preston and Diamond city but settled the whole mainland and got nearly 100 levels just doing exploration.
