So, as an American, I cannot get behind this, on the basis of morals and American idealism. Our identity, as twisted as the Enclave are, could not possibly get behind anything having to do with filthy goose steppers.

Ideals have nothing to do with the tools that were used and can be used by any man.

Besides, it's undeniable that the National Socialists were fairly Aesthetically pleasing thanks to Italian Tailoring. Uniforms have 2 function: Protect you during your Workday (wind, weather, gritty work conditions) and to be distinctive for it's agency (you know a policeman from a firefighter apart) but with the National Socialists it had a third function: If not for Respect, it was Fear that kept you from misbehaving.
