    Will this weapon be a replacer to the original Syringer Rifle?

      Maybe, I found the vanilla syringer to be super impractical so the functionality of the dart gun will be more akin to most other weapons.

    Will there be a different ammo type though?

      Yes, ammo will be only one type, while different poisons (enchantments) will be controlled by the paint can attachment.
