Hey Nexus modding communty! It's been nearly three months since Team F4NV began development on our remake of Fallout: New Vegas within the Fallout 4 engine. In that period of time, a lot of forward progress has been made as we picked up the torch of the original project and set off on our own, and we've finally hit a point where we feel we're ready to show off some of our newest work.

Over the coming days, we'll be releasing a number of pieces of new content showcasing a sample of our efforts, and we invite you to come along to see these pieces as they're released on our official Facebook page, as well as to interact with our community on our official Discord server.

We will, of course, continue to post content here on the Nexus, and hope to soon have some project-related content to release as a standalone for the modding community to play around with. In the meantime, we really appreciate your support, and hope that you'll join our community!

    I don't suppose we could ever see F4NV world-space content reused for settlement building? =o

      The content created for F4NV is the property of the modders that develop it, so it's certainly possible that they may choose to release standalone versions of content found within F4NV.

      Good to know; As a follow-up question in something of the same vein... Will the settlement system play any sort of role in the remade worldspace? (i.e Locations around New Vegas set aside as building plots? ) I'd guess not, but it's nice to know anyway.

      A lot of the level design work, as far as buildings are concerned, is made with retextured Snappy House Kit meshes, so the answer is probably yes that a lot of it will end up available for settlement building. Also if iirc, when the question of settlement building came up, the discussion was leaning on adding some settlements, not as many as FO4, in places to be decided after the core was in place.

      We're still very much up in the air about that - we're considering it, but we don't really want to make any definite statements about settlements until we know more certainly what we're going to be doing with them.

    Will you guys will be adding more details to the locations (or maybe, even expanding more some areas, taking some liberties) or it will be exactly the same? Great project as always!

      Given the scale of this project, we can't risk over-committing to redesigns of things without potentially causing the project to lose focus. That said, where possible we may expand or redesign things based upon partially cut content.
