Immersively changes the unimmersive names of immersively generic immersive NPCs to be more immersively generic and generally immersive.
Instead of a thousand types of raiders, now you only have Raider. Same with radroaches. Senty Bots. Deathclaws. Dogs. No variation in their names. No warning about what they are. Now you need to actually look at them, and guesstimate about their strength (and whether or not they're legendary).
Also, all forms of mirelurks are now named "Mirelurk". All of them. Including the kings and hunters and queens and hatchlings. (There may be a small issue with the hatchlings the queens throw at you still being named hatchlings. I've not
This was done for immersive reasons, because immersion. And because I played Skyrim with the Requiem mod, and they did this sort of thing, and I loved it. Not knowing adds just a small tinge of psychological difficulty, and that's immersive as all heck.
Cleaned with TES4Edit.
Disclaimer: I've no idea what I'm doing. I think that all I did was change names of generic encounter NPCs, but for all I know I triggered a chain reaction by destroying information, and thus inadvertently weakened the barriers holding back the maddening otherness that lies beyond man's ken. If your computer explodes in a queerly liquid explosion, slimy tentacles burst forth through a tear in the very fabric of reality, and file your taxes incorrectly.. well, you've been warned.
I'll probably add a DLC option to this later, but it's not pressing and I've not started the DLC on my playthrough yet, so I couldn't test it without putting some actual effort into it, and that's just not worth the bother.
PS: If you're working on a Requiem-esque overhaul for FO4, you're free to grab this mod and put it into yours. You don't need to say anything at all. Anyone could do this, but whatever. This actually took a few hours, so save yourself the time and focus on doing something important.
PPS: I've not played FO4 in months, and I can't be bothered to. V2 is, therefore, untested by yours truly. I can't be bothered to make individual files for Far Harbour or the robot DLC. While making the mod, there were some creatures that the CK didn't allow me to edit, so you'll probably see the occasional fuck-up. But this is as-is, and unless you find something that works better than manually changing the names of every raider, super mutant, communist or ghoul, don't bother complaining.
PPPS: Fuck Bethesda, and fuck their website especially. :D
