Description
This mod was inspired by Nylonathathep's mod "Replace Pack Brahmins with Eyebots" http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/14395/?
What this mod does is replace the various pack brahmins with enlarged dogs (currently using dogmeat meshes and textures) equiped with collars, helmets, and the great fadingsignal's "K-9 Harness" http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/17686/?
I did coordinate with fadingsignal and asked for his permission for my mod to utilize his. I do not include his mod in my own but his mod is a master to mine so must be downloaded and installed for mine to work. That also means that Armorsmith and Armor Keywords will be required.
Unlike the Eyebots mod, each of the traveling merchants in this mod have a Pack Dog with different look (K-9 Harness coloration load-out and different dog collars). The provisioner Pack Dogs as a group will match but have a different load-out than each of the merchants. Thus there are five different "looks" for the Pack Dogs.
This mod does not change dogmeat or junkyard dogs. It uses a new Pack Dog race and has its own materials, meshes, and textures. The mod is currently based upon vanilla dogmeat so most texture only mods for dogmeat can be used to alter the Pack Dog texture. To do so, download the desired texture manually and then copy the textures into the Textures\Actors\Packdog folder instead of the Dogmeat folder. Any dogmeat texture mods that alter the meshes may or may not work depending on clipping with the K-9 Harness.

Installation
Download manually. Copy into data folder.

Quirks
If you install into a current game you may need to "reset" any current Pack Brahmin to make sure the Pack Dog mesh, texture, enlarged size, and gear is displayed. The easiest way to do this is the following:
- open console
- click on Pack Dog to get ID
- ID.disable
- ID.enable
- ID.moveto player
- exit console
