About this mod
Immersive menu mod with weather effects, music and also features dogmeat running around.
- Permissions and credits
Weather starts off as rain/lightning/thunder and later clears up.
I understand the file is quite large but I didn't want to compress it too much and lose quality as the raw footage was already churned into different compression and conversion programs etc. Also, the video loop is quite long in order to capture the changing weather effects etc. I can drastically decrease the file size with a smaller loop but I'd have to sacrifice a lot of immersion with the weather effects. So please, No comments about the file size. I know it's big but it needs to be big to capture everything! If you would like a smaller file (at the cost of weather immersion) please just leave a comment and I'll upload one at a later date.
This footage was captured ingame and all the lightning you see was added by me. All the lightning around red rocket station, the petrol price sign at the bottom, the nuka cola poster board and the ball tower to the right. In future I would like to add other effects off into the distance and heavily mod the view distance etc for greater distance detail. Work in progress.
If there are any awesome locations you would like an immersive menu captured, please throw me your suggestions. I haven't explored much of the map as of yet.
Also, I can get a far better quality picture from day time captures due to lighter colours compressing and capturing far easier. Day time version of this menu is a work in progress and coming soon.
THIS MOD WILL NOT WORK CORRECTLY IF YOU HAVE MODED CODE TO TURN OFF THE GAME INTRO. PLEASE RE-ENABLE GAME INTRO.
THE PICTURE WILL STILL WORK BUT YOU WILL GET THE ORIGINAL MAIN MENU MUSIC AND MISS OUT ON MY MUSIC AND WEATHER EFFECT SOUNDS

1. Go to (whatever drive you have fallout 4 installed) C:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\steamapps\common\Fallout 4\Data\Video
Make a copy of the "MainMenuLoop" found inside the "video" folder. This is the original fallout4 menu background. Keep a copy of it somewhere just incase you want to revert back to vanilla.
Drag and drop my "MainMenuLoop" file into the "video" folder and overwrite the pre existing "MainMenuLoop" file when prompted (REMEMBER TO MAKE A BACKUP)
2. Go back to the data folder and open "Music"
Drag and drop my "Special" folder into the Music folder.
Voila, you are complete.
1. Copy and Paste the original MainMenuLoop File (You should have made a backup) into the Video folder located at C:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\steamapps\common\Fallout 4\Data\Video
2. Go to C:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\steamapps\common\Fallout 4\Data\Music and delete the "Special" folder.
