Infiltrator - True Disguises




Disguises mod plain and simple. Dress up like a raider. (Or one of the other factions). Visit raider camp. Get murdered by the raiders if you

WHAT DOES IT DO?

Allows you to infiltrate enemy bases.
(Supported main enemy factions: Raiders, Gunners, Triggerman, Scavengers, Children of Atom, BoS, Railroads, Institute.
Supported minor enemy factions: Robots and Bugs)


Allows you to create your own custom disguises, nothing is off limits


Adds a reputation system for enemy factions, so they will begin to recognise you after a while


Allows you to lower or reset your face recognition by visiting barber or surgeon


Makes sure that if you act hostile towards members of enemy faction, that you are disguised as, they will react.
Three different AI settings (peaceful/mild mannered/crazy)


Adds system that will make your settlers go nuclear if they ever see you in raider get up.
They will not stop attacking you after you take the disguise of. They thing you betrayed them and will try to murder you anyway.


All the different item add disguise points, so it doesn't matter what you put on in what order


Has a requirements system that you need to pass before you can fool anyone
(can be turned off in settings, but where is fun in that?)

SURPRISE FEATURE - Ambush

If you use my followers mod MFO and have "other faction reactions disabled" you can recruit enemies while in disguise, lure them to heavily fortified settlement like Castle full of Minuteman then dismiss them all (they will become hostile to settlement members once dismissed). Then step back and and enjoy your minuteman taking care of them. Ambush was tested on raiders for now, works fine.

Works the other way around. Recruit somebody you want to get rid off hands clean. Make them non-essential.
Fast travel to Libertaria and dismiss. Bye bye Marcy Long.

UPDATE:
TAKE ALL DISGUISES OFF BEFORE UPDATING

Added an Examine button to vanilla items that if triggered will change them into disguises (for now not everything got covered)
To turn it on use holotape menu

Added a detection system for enemies. Default off (because it eats up script RAM space like crazy)
Basically it calculates player actor values against enemy actor values and depending on your abilities sets how often enemies get detection chance,
detection chance is customizable in disguises holotape
watch out, every enemy will get it so setting it above 10% is asking for trouble

Fixed having to reapply disguise after a failed infiltration, now you will get disguised again as soon as fight is over


Raiders changes:

Talking raider-vendors:
Raiders Survivalists are now misc-vendors when they don't try to kill you.
Raiders Psychos are now chem-vendors when they don't try to kill you.

Fixed releasing captives, now it will trigger raiders to attack you if you don't have an ownership note for him/her.
You can get it by talk to the boss and buying it.

HOW TO USE?

BASICS:

1. Go to settlement. Open building menu. Navigate to crafting. Build disguises workbench. Create a disguise of your choosing.

2. DROP IT AND PICK IT UP - so it will get registered for alias. It's super important and only needs to be done once for each item.

3. Put it on.

4. If you found some gear with faction name on it drop it. Examine it. Done. (still not all items covered)

MAKE YOUR CUSTOM DISGUISE:

1. Go to settlement. Open building menu. Navigate to crafting. Build disguises workbench. Go to USABLE CHEAT, create a disguiser (It's a renamable weapon type item).

2. Drop item you want to turn into disguise.

3. Equip disguiser and a new button will pop up above your dropped clothing item. Press R. Choose faction. Choose item type. Done.

REPUTATION POINTS

HOW TO GAIN REPUTATION POINTS?

Fail infiltration.

HOW NOT TO GAIN REPUTATION POINTS?

Keep your face covered, then even if you fail they will not know who you were. Even if you use multiple follower mod and have like 20 exactly the same followers everywhere you go. 

HOW TO LOOSE REPUTATION POINTS?

Visit barber (little clean up) or a face surgeon (total reset). It can be a vanilla barer/surgeon or a settler working for you, workstations (chairs) are added to special category in building menu.

ENEMY AI - there are three options:

PEACEFUL

Do what you want. They won't react. You will never fail infiltration. A cheat option basically.

MILD MANNERED

Default option. They will react to hostile behaviours but you have to piss them off first. Anything done while sneaking and concealed doesn't count. So you can sneak kill everyone if you want to.

CRAZY

You shoot somebody they try to kill you. You pickpocket somebody (unsuccessfully) they also try to kill you. You kill somebody they try to kill you. You hit somebody while concealed if, you have low luck then they will try to kill you again. You kill somebody while concealed and they will get angry and try to find you in order to kill  you. If they are raiders watch out for flying nukes.

OTHER FACTIONS REACTION - there are two options:

NO REACTION (default)

Other factions don't react to your disguises.

OTHER FACTIONS REACT

They won't react if your disguise did not work, obviously

You are dressed up like a BoS - Railroads and Institute members will turn hostile

You are dressed up as Railroad - BoS and Institute members will turn hostile.

You are disguised as a ember of the Institute - BoS, Railroads and Settlers will turn hostile.

You are dressed up as a Raider - Pretty much everyone who is not a Raider will be hostile

SETTINGS OPTIONS:
Change settings when you are out of disguise.

1. Set Requirements:

On: Default behaviour for the mod. For the disguise to work you need to have sufficient skills and not be recognizable by enemy faction.

Off: disguises always work

2. Set Messages on/off for more immersion.

Peaceful/Mild Mannered/Crazy

3. Set Other Factions Reaction:

Other factions don't react/Other factions react

FACTIONS DETAILS: do not read if you want to be surprised:

1. Brotherhood of Steel:
Requirements: You need to wear their uniform and have at least 5 points of charisma and 4 points of intelligence.
Negative reactions from other factions: Railroads and Institute
Failed infiltrations before recognition: 18

2. Children of Atom:
Requirements: You need to wear their disguise and have at least 5 points of intelligence, have highest Ghoulish perk or be irradiated (100+).
Negative reactions from other factions: None
Failed infiltrations before recognition: 30

3. Gunners:
Requirements: You need to wear their uniform, have at least 5 points of strength and charisma.
Negative reactions from other factions: None
Failed infiltrations before recognition: 20

4. Institute
Requirements: You need to wear their uniform, have distortion emitter in your inventory, and have at least 6 points of charisma, 7 points of intelligence and 8 points of luck.
Negative reactions from other factions: Railroads, BoS and all settlements.
Failed infiltrations before recognition: 15

5. Raiders
Requirements: You need to have at least 5 points of luck, be drunk, high or wear their full uniform. Raiders are not very smart.
Negative reactions from other factions: Everybody who is not a Raider.
Failed infiltrations before recognition: 25

6. Railroads
Requirements: You need to wear their uniform and have at least 6 points of charisma, 7 points of intelligence and 8 points of luck.
Negative reactions from other factions: Institute and BoS.
Failed infiltrations before recognition: 15

7. Scavangers
Requirements: You need to have Scavenger Certificate in your inventory. You can forge it (craft it) or buy it from Trashcan Carla.
Negative reactions from other factions: None
Failed infiltrations before recognition: 25

8. Triggerman
Requirements: You need to wear their uniform, have at least 5 points of charisma.
Negative reactions from other factions: None
Failed infiltrations before recognition: 20

9. Robots
Requirements: You need to have distortion emitter in your inventory
Negative reactions from other factions: None
Failed infiltrations before recognition: Infinite

10. Bugs
Requirements: You need to have insect repellent in your inventory
Negative reactions from other factions: None
Failed infiltrations before recognition: Infinite

11. Ghouls and Super Mutants
Requirements: You need to have Mascot Head equipped and have 5 luck for ghouls and 8 luck for super mutants.
Negative reactions from other factions: None
Failed infiltrations before recognition: Infinite

1. If you use my other (simpler) disguises mod, take off all disguises before moving on. This is not the same mod.

IF YOU WANT TO MAKE YOUR CUSTOM MODDED ITEM INTO DISGUISE?

1. Open my mod in ck as plugin.

2. Open your item. Add script RMRM_AliasAdder

3. Fill reference alias property on script: Quest: __RMRM_AliasHolder / alias that would fit your item. Done. Will work like any of the default mod disguises.

4. Or add it to correct formlist

MISC INFO:

I don't recommend using conflicting factions uniforms, especially if you have factions reactions enabled. They will just all turn hostile.

Yeah, I know my screenshots look bad, but try doing better on an decade old computer.
