Description:
High quality male face textures. These are based on the textures I originally made for Skyrim.
Includes hand drawn facial hair (eyebrows, beard and shaved hair), improved tintmasks and face details, five facial texture sets in both vanilla and my favourite DXMD style.
Can't say this mod is the most realistic one have ever seen, but at least I like it.
Every diffuse and normal map is 2048x2048, speculars are 1024x1024.

Installation:
Choose between "DeusEx'y" and "Vanilla" versions, then use NMM or extract everything in DATA folder.

NMM or remove mod's folders.

Known issues:
- You have to install Real HD Face Textures 2k first. No exceptions.
- You have to use LooksMenu in order to get 2k face resolution in game, otherwise everything will be downsampled to 1k.

Q: Version for consoles?
A: Definitely no. That would require me to do a complete face overhaul. Or if I upload this mod as is, it's probably going to be unplayable.
Q: 4k? More?
A: I don't know if this game can handle 4k at all.
Q: Does this mod replace existing textures?
A: Yep.
Q: Do these work with NPCs?
A: Kinda? You probably have to regenerate facegen for NPCs in order to see changes in game. I wanted to do it myself, but damn CK crashes every time I try to open it. If you made any alterations to a NPC's face in game via SLM, they would use this mod just like PC. Probably. I don't know.
Q: I don't like the amount of detail.
A: It's hard to find a golden mean in this game, to be honest. I just got really tired of tweaking everything, so... no alterations, sorry.
Q: I don't like your beard\hair\eyebrow\face textures\whatever, make separate downloads.
A: I won't be making separate downloads for any parts of the mod because I don't know if they will work apart of the whole thing.
Q: I don't like a particular item of the mod.
A: Just replace the damn thing with whatever you want. I don't guarantee your character's face won't become black though.
Q: Female retexture?
A: I wanted to make a female version, but because I prefer playing as male characters, it's probably 15% chance there will be something for women in future.
Q: What body textures I should use?
A: Whatever body textures you want, just make sure they use vanilla neck seam.
Q: Compressed/uncompressed variant?
A: I totally don't know which compressing formats FO4 uses, so I won't experiment with those again any time soon.
Q: The mod does not work.
A: Make sure you don't have any other texture replacers overlapping this one. Also note, this mod most likely does not work with NPCs.
Q: I get dark face when using this mod.
A: Install the mod I mentioned above, it should work just fine.
If you're still getting dark face, try installing High Res DLC Black Face Fix by HizFather.
Q: I get low resolution textures in game.
A: Make sure you have LooksMenu installed and have set uTintWidth and uTintHeight in f4ee.ini to 2048.
Q: Can you post your .psd files?
A: Definitely no. For one thing, I don't feel like sharing those, and for another, no one will just understand what's happening there. Also those are just huge.
The ones who did not read the description will be divided by zero. It ain't that hard.
