Project Brief:
The USSA Trey Gowdy is a Presidential Super Carrier built to honor the 46th US President of the Fallout Timeline, Trey ‘Rowdy’ Gowdy. It displaces roughly 180,000 tons and during pre-war times was crewed by 2,800 sailors, including 80 marines and 40 pilots for Stingray fighter/bombers. The average Presidential Carrier also had a Poseidon: Trident9 Nuclear Reactor; very large, very cumbersome, and very powerful. But enough about specs nobody
is ever going to read again, you want to know about this wonderful creation of mine. What you see… is what you get. Packaged in a worldcell all by itself is the carrier. You can create a SCOL of it if you want to port it to the Commonwealth, but for now it merely exists as its own personal thing. I also have numerous interiors done. The interiors are navmeshed, but the exterior carrier model is not. This is because I honestly don’t know if it would be better drop it in the Commonwealth or just make a quest out in the middle of nowhere. Everything can be found by doing a filter for: JC. I drop those initials in front of everything for simplicity sake.

Packaged in the RAR file is the original plan for the questline for this projects intro. You might get some inspiration from it, or something like that. Pretty much, I just wanted to show off my original plans for this mod, and where I was going to go with it. You don’t have to emulate my original idea if you don’t want to. I just included it because I was slightly depressed when I uploaded this. In any case, enjoy.

If the mod in question does not contain an SCOL then ignore this section. Sometimes, when a unicorn farts a rainbow on a blue moon causing a bunch of stoned hippies to see Jesus in the desert, the meshes I actually package into a mod actually work. Most of the time; however, they don’t because god only knows why. It’s still a mystery to me years after I first started modding, and numerous people trying to help fix the problem. To repair a missing SCOL when all you are seeing on your end are a bunch of giant red triangles, find the SCOL in the creation kit [it’ll have a green icon, can’t miss it], right-click it, and then left-click “recreate SCOL from static meshes.” This will give you a copy on your end and fix it for you.
Regarding the Name of the Carrier
In lieu of the removal of my Germania Mod, I have decided to review several of my mods for any content or posts upon my projects which might indicate intended offensive political content. As such, the naming of this vessel as the Trey Gowdy is intended as a joke. I do denounce racism, but I also denounce the poster in this mods comment thread who tried to provoke a fight over this vessel's name. His post and all posts attached to it have as such been deleted.
